On Friday 7 July 2023, BlueCHP celebrated the official opening of their latest robust home in North Ryde, NSW.
This Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) was delivered under BlueCHP’s ‘GuideYouHome’ Initiative; a unique, participant-led approach which focuses on the client first.
The modern, purpose-built dwelling is truly one-of-a-kind, designed to meet the individual needs of the three young ladies who will now call it their forever home. The concept plans for the home went through an extensive review process, ensuring the build will work efficiently for both the residents and care staff.

As Leanne explains; “… it’s their lifetime home, so for us it was really important to get it right”.
Says Ian; “In terms of what this will mean for us in the future… we have confidence in the future… and everybody needs a bit of hope”.
This robust home was financed by For Purpose Investment Partners (FPIP) and the National Housing Finance and Investment Corporation (NHFIC). It was built by Academy Construction & Development.
The BlueCHP team are proud to deliver another bespoke SDA home for members of Supporting Independent Living Co-operative (SILC).
Congratulations to our SDA and development teams, particularly; BlueCHP National Manager of Disability Housing, Michelle Northcote, and BlueCHP Project Manager, Jimmy Le, who showed great tenacity in steering this project through the challenges of the Covid-19 pandemic.
